LASER DENTISTRY

How would you like to be a part of a new revolution in dentistry?  Thousands of Americans have already had their dental work done using Laser Dentistry.  Dental lasers are used for a variety of treatment procedures.   Dr. Donnelly and his team have devoted countless hours of training to be able to bring you the many advantages of this exciting, new technology.

Heat and vibration are the culprits in most pain associated with the dental drill.  Since the laser does not produce heat or vibrations, Dr. Donnelly can perform dental procedures with no pain, virtually eliminating the need for anesthesia in most cases!

The laser also can be used for a number of gum procedures, which allows Dr. Donnelly to solve complex procedures previously requiring the attention of a specialist.  Because Dr. Donnelly can address just about all of your needs here in the office, the likelihood of you having to be referred to another doctor is greatly reduced.

Benefits

  • A reduced need for traditional anesthetic.
  • Decreased healing time.
  • Reduced patient discomfort and bleeding.
  • Lowered risk of infection.
  • Fewer complications.
  • Quieter, less vibrations.
  • Without anesthetic, we can work in multiple areas of your mouth in one visit.

Many Uses

  • Can change the shape of the teeth by modifying the gum line-smaller teeth appear larger and larger teeth appear more proportioned with others.
  • Removing decay in the tooth.
  • Removing the smallest amount of damaged tooth to maintain as much healthy tooth as possible.
  • Working safely around existing crown and bridgework with less risk of abrasion.
  • Using the laser to detect hidden tooth decay, which may otherwise go unnoticed until it becomes very large and very expensive to repair.

The inclusion of Laser Dentistry into Dr. Donnelly’s practice has offered an additional tool to perform a myriad of procedures with outstanding aesthetic results.  Lasers, although extremely advanced, do not always eliminate the need for traditional tools, but can certainly reduce the necessity of them.
