MEET THE STAFF

JENNIE
Another native Texan, Jennie has handled the finances for Dr. Donnelly for fourteen years. Having talked her way out of more speeding tickets than all her co-workers combined, Jennie has earned an Honorary Masters Degree in Fast Talking. She expresses her attraction to speed through jet skiing, water skiing, wake boarding, and (no surprise here) racing to work. Jennie loves to spend time with her three sisters and says that she considers them her best friends. Jennie also enjoys watching her teenage son motor cross race (I wonder who he got that from), as well as, taking her six year old daughter for mani’s, pedi’s and shoe shopping(diva you think). Unlike Kathy, if she wins the Lotto she’ll leave dentistry to manage her own money.

MARGARET
Margaret was born and raised in San Marcos where she graduated from Texas State University and then moved to The Woodlands. She has recently moved back to San Marcos and is excited to be back close to family and friends. All of her working life has included customer service and management and she is currently applying those skills at the front desk and marketing at the office. Most of her free time is spent with her husband and daughter as well as their two English bulldogs and two cats who share their home.

KAYLA
Kayla grew up in Dallas where her family and some close friends still live. She is a recent Texas State University graduate and she feels beyond blessed to call herself a Bobcat (Eat ‘em Up Cats)! Kayla studied Family and Child Development and Social Work at Texas State and absolutely loves the medical field. She spends her weekends floating the river, kayaking on Lake Austin or boating with her family and friends. Clearly, this Texas Native doesn’t know what to do with herself during the harsh “Texas Winters”. Nothing makes Kayla happier than greeting our patients when they arrive and seeing their dazzling smiles as they leave!

KATHY
Kathy says she is a native Texan- that’s her story and she’s sticking to it. And talk about experience! Apart from her 20 plus years in dentistry, she takes her work home with her every afternoon. Just ask Dr. Bob who has been Kathy’s favorite co-worker and husband for the last 35 years. Kathy’s favorites in life all begin or end with “Family”: Family vacations, boating with the family, football and basketball games with the family, family picnics, family reunions—well, you get the picture. With two sons, daughter-in-law, granddaughter and Dr. Donnelly in her life, Kathy says she will still work after winning the Lotto so that her family of co-workers won’t have to look for another employer.

GRETCHEN
Gretchen grew up in Uhland and graduated from High School in Kyle from Hays High School. After school, she left home to attend Coastal Bend College where she graduated with an Associate’s degree in Science. As a dental hygienist she enjoys getting to know her patients and helping people keep a healthy smile. Outside of work most of her time is devoted to her family which includes her daughter Maggie, husband Stephen and family dogs. Gretchen is a wonderful cook and also enjoys sewing and gardening. Everyone knows they are truly in for a treat if Gretchen brings any baked goods to the office and they don’t last long.

STORMY
Stormy grew up in Corpus Christi where her parents still live. She attended Del Mar College in Corpus where she graduated with an Associate’s degree in Science and has pursued her career for the last 10 years as a dental hygienist. Dentistry has always interested her since she grew up with many of her family involved in different aspects of the profession. When not at the office she enjoys spending time with her daughter, Westyn and two dogs. All of Stormy’s patients enjoy how gentle and friendly she is which puts them at ease and she truly enjoys getting to know all her patients and helping them with their dental health.

PAM
Pam moved quite a bit whenever she was growing up and graduated from high school in Kansas City. She eventually found her way to Texas with her husband after his service in the army and has enjoyed it here ever since. Her husband and her have shared their lives together the last 37 years and also share their home with their three cats and dog. Gardening, reading, collecting pottery and antique textiles are just of the few of the activities Pam enjoys in her free time. Pam has worked as a dental assistant for over twenty years and you could not be in more caring hands. She truly enjoys helping all of her patients and is a wonderful caregiver. Also, she is an instructor for the dental assisting course held in Dr. Donnelly’s office in conjunction with Texas State University’s Continuing Education Department.

ROBBIE
Robbie was born and raised in Luling where she graduated from Luling High School. She started her career in dental assisting and attained many certifications: CPR, RDA and nitrous oxide certification, just to name a few. With 14 years of dental experience and her friendly disposition she is able to put our patients at ease. It’s no wonder our Marine Doctor and Robbie work well together, she’s use to taking orders from her Marine husband at home (or so she lets them think!) In Robbie’s free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children. She keeps busy with her newborn son, attending her eldest son’s football and basketball games along with her daughter’s softball and basketball games (don’t worry she holds her composure on the sidelines).

TARA
Tara grew up in Port Lavaca where most of her family still lives. After graduating from Calhoun High School, Tara moved to San Marcos where she has lived for the past 15 years. Tara loves spending time outdoors with her animals and gardening. Her favorite time of year is the summer so she can enjoy the hot Texas sun while tubing down the river or laying on the riverbank with her dogs! Tara loves dental assisting so much that she spends some of her Saturdays teaching a Dental Assisting course that is held by Dr. Donnelly in partner with Texas State University’s Continuing Education Department.
