Dr. Schneider says that the best part of his job is simple—it’s the people! He deeply enjoys connecting with his patients and team, believing it’s a privilege to be a part of their lives while having the opportunity to improve them through his work. Before you meet him in person here at San Marcos Gentle Dental, you can learn more about him below.

Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?

Dr. Schneider first started considering a dental career while he was an undergraduate. He had the opportunity to shadow his family dentist and quickly became fascinated by everything that the dental field had to offer.

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

After graduating from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a degree in molecular and cellular biology, Dr. Schneider went on to earn his dental degree from the University of Illinois Chicago. While there, he participated in the advanced prosthodontics and dental implant program, and since finishing school, he has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education in a broad spectrum of dental disciplines.

In addition to being trained to offer sedation dentistry, he is also a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

In fact, he has completed multiple marathons over the years in both Austin and Chicago!
